Margaritaville Cap Cana

The Margaritaville Cap Cana All-inclusive Hotel defines itself as a nature resort in Dominican Republic. The softscape design centers around native plants to highlight the tropical ambiance from the site, as well to encapsulate a sense of identity from the natural context. The vegetation relies on being native to the site to solve the problematic of inefficient and high maintenance gardens.

The softscape design throughout the resort focuses on native, endemic and adapted plants, with the creation of different settings unique to its own selection of greenery in order to maximize the guest´s experience. Through their own qualities, the vegetation provide spatial functionality in the project, and different presence through the created settings.

El Margaritaville Cap Cana All-inclusive Hotel se define como un resort natural en la República Dominicana. El diseño del paisaje vegetal se centra en las plantas autóctonas para resaltar el ambiente tropical del lugar, así como para encapsular un sentido de identidad del contexto natural. La vegetación se basa en plantas endémicas para resolver el problema de los jardines ineficaces y de alto mantenimiento.

El diseño paisajístico de todo el complejo se centra en las plantas autóctonas, endémicas y adaptadas, con la creación de diferentes entornos exclusivos para su propia selección de vegetación con el fin de maximizar la experiencia del huésped. A través de sus propias cualidades, la vegetación proporciona funcionalidad espacial en el proyecto, y diferente presencia a través de los entornos creados.
