Hacienda San Jose

The project responds primarily to the manifestation of the existing building, being an old Hacienda. Its restoration was in constant connection with the landscaping design, as it presented itself with the highest hierarchy in the site. The softscape relied on sustainability in its selection, with low maintenance and low watering needs as a cornerstone of the design. The mixed-use element meant the hardscape had to be easily adaptable to any event for it to be economically functional, opening up to shelter different uses in its open spaces.

As a mixed-use commercial project, it is able to host weddings, events, reunions, and more. The variety of uses it shelters is directly connected to the landscape design and the spaces this offers. Through ceramic tiling, limestone, and gravel, the aesthetic of the site asimilates a luxury site in which the gardens shine through. A private space is included with a pool and terrace connected to suites for guests to stay in as well.

El proyecto responde principalmente a la manifestación del edificio existente, tratándose de una antigua Hacienda. Su restauración estuvo en constante conexión con el diseño paisajístico, ya que se presentaba con la mayor jerarquía en el emplazamiento. El softscape se basó en la sostenibilidad en su selección, con bajo mantenimiento y escasas necesidades de riego como piedra angular del diseño. El elemento de uso mixto significaba que el paisaje duro tenía que ser fácilmente adaptable a cualquier evento para que fuera económicamente funcional, abriéndose a albergar diferentes usos en sus espacios abiertos.

Como proyecto comercial de uso mixto, puede albergar bodas, eventos, reuniones y mucho más. La variedad de usos que alberga está directamente relacionada con el diseño paisajístico y los espacios que éste ofrece. Mediante baldosas de cerámica, piedra caliza y grava, la estética del lugar asimila un sitio de lujo en el que brillan los jardines. Se incluye un espacio privado con piscina y terraza conectado a suites para que los huéspedes también puedan alojarse.
